Interesting shots, I like #2, it has good depth, normally I would say don't put the horizon central in the height - but somehow it works here, well done.

Where in Ireland are these taken (I'm going there on business in a few weeks time).

Thanks for the feedback.

I flew into Dublin than rented a car and drove across the country to Galway than along the southern coast with stops at Dingle and Cork. The 2nd photo was taken in Dingle, probably the highlight of the trip.

Where in Ireland is your trip? It was my first visit and definitely will not be the last.

I'm and no expert and new to photography but my initial thoughts are...

I love no1! Maybe a tad too much sky for me though
No2 works for me and due to the clouds above the horizon central its makes it visually 1/3 to 2/3
No3 is nice but the crop at the top of the arch is too low. It would be nice to have at least 1 brick thick at the top.
No4 is probably focused too high. I would personally have focused around a 3rd of the way up at the top of the first cliff sort of area.

However, I am very new to all this and am probably talking complete rubbish! I do really like all of them though and hope I can take some like it when I go to Ireland (And Hadrian's way) at the end of July.

Let me know when and where. I'm in the southeast, co waterford and could show you a few nice photogenic views!

Can't have been in ireland, we haven't seen the sun for the past 3 years :-/

I like number 2,3 and i think 4 has potential to either be reshot or maybe edited. I did a very quick edit of 4 in ps, I hope you dont mind. All i did was hit the auto tone button, added a little contrast, turned saturation and vibrance down a little, and I turned the exposure up a little. It is hard to edit such a small file perfactly but here you go. I also tried to straighten it a little. Also keep in mind it isn't perfact because I am just a begginer as well. One more thing on number 4, I would like more room on the bottom of the picture.

I was told that several times, especially on the west coast, but we really lucked out.

Don't mind the edit at all. I appreciate the feedback.

Like you, I'm flying into Dublin, renting a car, but then I'm driving down to Limerick and Tipperary area. I will have to see what I can best do with may spare time. :)

That area used to be really "Irish", too (though no coastline with spectacular rocks, but "Emerald Isle" all the way) when I was there --- that, however, was in 1977 ... erm. Can't tell what it looks like today. Ahemmmm ;)

Personally, I really like Photo 2 and the edited version of Photo 4.
Putting the behinds of the sheep into the foreground in 1 is a cute idea which I also like, but I'd have cropped that one slightly differently (less sky, as has been said before).

You have a point, but here you turned Ireland into California. Irish palette is more subdued in my view.Somthing in between this and original would do methinks.
I love photo No 2. Probably would have tried to put some more detal on the forefront if there was any rocks etc. But nevertheless excellent.

Too saturated IMHO. I like the original better.

Yes I agree after takeing a second look after posting. I turned the saturation and vibrance down quite a bit so it's a little weird it's still so saturated. I have never seen Ireland but I live in California.
