Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I dont have much experience with darker people. This woman is pretty dark in real life. Right now Im obsessing over her skin. Is she underexposed. The histogram doesnt show because of the vignetting. Yes I am aware of chopping off the elbow. No excuses just a rookie mistake

The entire photo is underexposed. However, I think it's just fine the way it is. The eyes really pop out.

Good to hear I was aiming for her eyes. They make an amazing contrast with her skin

Looking on my laptop always makes it difficult, it looks ok, but what sticks out to me is the somewhat dramatic difference in skin tones between her face and her forearm.. Possibly a bit hot from the flash? Or possibly just actual tonal differences.

Have it in color?

The tonal difference was because of the flash. Her arm was the closest to it.

I was going to say what j-digg said. Dark is sometimes what you want, and works well. Here I think it does work well, with just the brighter forearm standing out.
Possible to burn in that forearm a bit in post to take off the brightness?
It isn't a BIG issue, however, and is a lovely shot.

Edit: I wonder if a crop would look good with this...go almost square, taking off the right side. Look almost like an album cover for a great soul singer, or something. :)
