Is it fair to browbeat friends and family into becoming your models???

in these cases it was! very nice work. :thumbup: i wish i had your knack for photographing people. b&w was a good choice in these as well!!!

If you still have to start getting into portrait photography (while these don't look like you're still at any beginning, photo_gal!), who else would you want to choose to be your model? So, yes, I tend to agree with Pete: it is their duty!

My daughter hates to even look at any of her photos (it's her age, she's a month short of 12 now), but she has to be my "model" 'all the time' (that exaggerates things a bit, but I would always choose her first for anything to do with portraits).
