I got this lens @ a pawn shop for $10, a Bushnell 135/2.8. It was filthy dirty but cleaned up nicely except for some tape residue on the focusing ring.

It was cold, windy & snowing here this morning so I only took one shot outside with it.

All shots were @ f4.0

For 10 bucks, I'd say heck yeah it looks worth it to me from the pics! But I am also not familiar with your equipment...however just based on looks, it looks worth it to me!

Now I'll be checking some Pawn shops for nice things =p

Looks pretty good...these days $10 will not even buy a half-rack of decent beer...

Decent test shots from the 135. It looks similar to one I had, branded JC Penney. Possibly made by Kiron.

$10? $2?

I'll take a half-dozen please~!

I never seem to find those kinds of deals. Sigh... Guess that might be because I don't go to flea markets or pawn shops much though. Maybe I should take a spin out this afternoon.

My wife recently brought home a Canon 75-300mm 4-5.6 from the thrift store for 3 bucks. Nothing spectacular, but for 3 bucks, who's complaining? Longest lens I own is a 105, 300mm would be great. Too bad I shoot Nikon. Wait... I don't mean that. ;)

Still got the lens, hoping one day it will magically fit onto my camera.

Holy smokes! that's some amazing quality for the price and age of that lens, it takes better photos than some modern lenses. Now i gotta go check out some used lenses at my local camera store.

Thanks folks.

I really was being facetious, as it is clearly worth twice the price. ;) However, it will sit @ the back of the shelf because I much prefer to use my Sears 135/2.8 due to it being significantly lighter & a tad sharper.

Jands, you must get yourself a micro four thirds camera & then you will be able to use a host of other lenses. I recently got a Canon FD 300/5.6 prime on eBay for under $50 including shipping. Here is a highly cropped shot taken with it.
