What's new

Is yours bigger than mine?

Although his is not a Maine Coon he is the size of one, he is a solid and active cat.

Active like 2/3 of America perhaps. Saying, "main coon" must be like "big boned."

He's 12 years old, he's the biggest I have ever owned, he's almost as tall as my knees, very well natured and very affectionate

Used to have a cat who was 23lbs skinny. She was feral and was that weight when we first got her, though she remained that size for the next 4+ years of owning her. Sweetest cat ever.

there's a breed of cats and for the life of me I cannot remember the breed that weigh up to 40lbs, healty. My sisiter had 2 cats in the high 20lb range that used to run eachother all over the house. One morning I got run over while sleeping and damn near had the wind knocked out of me.

That poor kitty. He's obese and I feel pretty bad for him, although he does have a super cute little face.

My biggest cat is a Ragdoll; he weighs about 16lbs. My other cats are probably right at 10-11#, with one outlier that is about 13#.

Obese kitties suffer from big time health problems and I hope that you can get your cat's weight under control before he becomes part of the statistics. :/

Wow! He's one big cat, also very beautiful. There are a few breeds that do get well over the 20lb mark! Everything in this world need not be toothpick skinny! My neighbor has a Norweigin breed of cat that is very large and it has regular vet check ups and it's 24 pound weight is not conisdered an issue by the vet. I'm sure your cats weight is normal for his over all size too. ;-)
