Isolette cable questions shutter/PC

Bought a shutter release, a threaded cable plunger type and it did not fit, rod into camera too long.
Where should I go and about how much to spend on a release plunger? Are these somehow adjustable for travel length of rod? There is a tiny screw at the top under the push button.
I'm wondering if you might type exactly what I need so I can type it into the interweb and purchase one of what comes up.
So... I need another cable going from tiny round port to fire strobe also.

Meaning I have no idea what size I am looking for, for either cable. This is a Isolette with a J looking first letter I. One cable to fire shutter and one to fire flash. Thanks for reading.

Eh, not sure what you mean by "too long".
The rod extends as far as you push.

States that it uses the standard 3mm PC cable connection style, and that the shutter had both M-synch (standard flashbulb) and X-synch (for electronic flash).

The screw is to lock it down for long exposures. It's probably screwed down so the plunger seems too long to insert into the camera. Just loosen the screw and try again.
