Last Friday I got the hint that canoeing season may be over.

How did you capture the snow flakes? I have only tried it a few times and they never done out.

I have chased snowflakes for years but these came to me. We had about 20 minutes of heavy snow, including some poker chip sized flakes. The snow lasted half a day giving the coverage you see on the canoe. As mentioned the big flakes at the start of the snow fall, only lasted about 20 minutes.

It was at its peak when got my camera and tripod. I was trying to get some long exposure shots like you do with running water but no luck there. I live in Indiana so it will snow again, though those big flake are rare.
