..Being a Bug

Excuse the awful onboard flash spots on the bug. I was bored last night and went outside and saw this bug and used my flash that I never use lol.

LOL yep, when I was 22, I was at a party and one flew into my ear all the way in to the eardrum..took 2 days and 3 different doctors to get it out LMAO!!

i love the detail! Yeah... june bugs are gross and they seem to like to be found in pool filters... yuck! but that is not as bad as having one in your ear... poor thing! (you mommy... not the bug)

While I agree on the effect of the on-camera flash (as not being quite so good), I must say I like these (and keep wondering what treasures all you budding bug-photographers still have up your sleeves when you publish these in the galleries now, while the Contest of the Month is on "Bugs" ... you must all enter the most wonderful pics there then!) and I particularly like your short-DOF one!
