Danny, they can be vicious like any wild animal, corner one and it will go from adorable to omg RUN! in .08 seconds! In general though they are laid back critters that don't mind people being around.

Very Cute.Now don't you just want to give it a little scratch under its chin but then the better senses take over and realize you like to keep your fingers from being bitten off. A friend of mine back in high school raised baby raccoons and walked them on a leash but when they got all grown up to adults they got cranky and would bite.No they don't make a good kitty for a pet.
