It's a Momma! and a Rabbit.

So we are officially up to two "resident" raccoons, this one revealed that she's a Momma!
Yesterday all of the animals seemed to be out and about early again before the storms rolled in, Momma there had a good lounge around eating up some seeds and the bunnies were just weird!








She sat on the stair and ate all of the seeds off the ledge.













Zomg LOVE that she "grinned" in this one (she was really just eating the seeds but ... lol)






This bunny was one hop ahead of me, they were everywhere just before the storm arrived!

Thanks C He was literally ONE hop ahead of me lol I was sitting on the deck looking down at my ipod, saw movement in the corner of my eye, he had gone almost all the way across in front of me when he saw me, he froze, I slowwwwly put down the ipod and picked up the camera (in my lap) He booked it!! I was set for the low light, 1/200 ISO800 F5.6 so I had to keep up with him... I kinda did lol

That is awesome, I can't pan to save my life. Even when I'm planning for it ahead of time in a pan friendly environment. I've deleted a lot of merry go round pics. I love that you are out there with camera at the ready.

Well, you did great on this one - we all know how fast they are, and he is also in mid-air; so great job! We have a couple of raccoons hanging around our feeders, too, and I can't resist them. This is a very cute set of your local critters!

I think the thing about these shots that I really like is her comfort level, she is totally lounging like our pets do, we just don't pet her lol
