its a sad day when this happens

so, i went out today to pick a 35mm lens, wolf camera had a huge plethora of 2 lenses to choose from which were the complete opposite of what i wanted, so i went to target, they had a bigger selection of lenses but no 35mm.

went by a portrait studio to see if they sell any equipment, and they dont, went by a pawn shop by my house, no lenses there, went to an antique shop to look for antique cameras, none there either.

all places told me to go to charlotte which is about half an hour away, 2 problems with this. the DNC is in town AND its charlotte, i dont know my way around there to begin with.

also, the wolf camera warehouse doesnt even carry 35mm lenses so they couldnt even order one, does anyone have any experience ordering lenses off amazon?

YES! Amazon! Or B&H or Adorama! All have huge selections, and are reliable!

I have ordered almost every thing I have from one of those three places. I also have ordered from Unique Photo.. and they rock also!

I've shopped at Biggs in NC. Bought my 7D and a Mamiya 645 there. They had a nice selection of gear there a couple years ago. They were about an hour drive from where I was working at the time.

Living in New England, B&H has made me very happy...and me, them. Order by noon or so, I have it the next day, usually with their free ground shipping! Can't beat 'em.
