Yeah...getting a little discouraged here. I take a gazillion shots and every now and then I get one that's not too bad....one I'd like to share here, and get feedback/advice on. :(

I've been getting my pics developed at Shoppers...:blushing:...and that's where I've been doing any "touch ups". The quality is "meh" at the best of times, but it's all I have to work with right now. Then, I scan the pics to PhotoBucket...then try to post them here.

I need to learn to get my pics directly from the camera to the 'puter....and try to print off pics from there maybe. I've asked about calibrating my monitor in the beginner forum.... I'm still trying to sort all this stuff out!!! :er:

...I have some shots of a statue of the Virgin Mary that I'd love to get your input/advice on....(it's great in that it has a 'lichen'/moss-type stain on her face that makes it look almost like a tear stain...) we'll see if/when they ever make it on here!!!????

Hey, thanks for letting me vent and bend your ear for a moment!! :blushing:

Which link are you using to post? Use the link that starts with [ I M G ] and ends with [ / I M G ]

I use photobucket to post my stuff and rarely have a problem. With the exception of the image not rotating.:D

Yes, that's the link I'm using...let's try this again...and see what happens:confused:

OK...that's not bad....but in my actual photo, the ceiling of the bus isn't that dark (and I can see the little bird nest sitting on top of the doors), and the windows and brush piled up is much sharper.

Sooo... (please don't laugh--:blushing:-at least loud enough for me to hear you...) does this mean it looks that way to me, on my uncalibrated screen....but it looks OK to those who have calibrated their moitors??
