I've always liked it

I've always liked this photo, I'm still very much a beginner but I thought I would post it up. Just found this chair while walking through the woods one day.
Camera is a Canon A620

I need to play around with it a big I find it a little too bright for my liking. If someone wants to play around with it feel free.

Overall, the composition is not bad, but the overexposure definitely hurts it to the point where I don't think you can completely recover.

Yeah I was thinking it was hopeless. that's a very good edit though. I'll just have to go back and take another one when I get a little better with my new camera.

Did you take the shot in RAW format? If you did you will get more out of editing it than I can with a jpeg. I was using Photoshop CS3 btw and all I editing was Exposure/Gamma Correction, Exposure/Offset, Shadows/Highlights Left the Shadows alone and Boosted the Highlights, Went to Photofilter and used Sepia at 30% density.

nah was taken with the A620 no shooting in RAW with her. I just have a simple easy and free photo editor. If I get into photography more like I imagine I will I'll most likely get a better program.
