Here are some of the collages highlights. This is pretty much my first wedding gig. Whew.. hard one. It was on a Friday so not a lot of shooting time outside. Plus they wanted so many family pics (not shown here). Enjoy!

Very nice, some of the shots with the hills in the background i would have uped the shutter speed to darken the background because i'm sure you used flash

Very nice! LOL@ the groom's face in #4... so serious. :) I think you did a wonderful job!

gary, yeah I used flash. I didnt want to use too much power because it was all on camera flash and I dont want the flash to look flash because I dont shoot it from an angle. It was too crazy and I was a bit overwhelmed to be honest with you so I hardly used OCF.

Robin I think you did an amazing job for your first wedding. Great attention to detail and what not. Did you wear your cotton carrier :).:

I really love the color coordination and layout of the detail shots in 18! Nice work, Schwetty! :D

Ain't it the most tiring thing? LOL it gets better don't worry...

Pretty darn good for your first wedding! I'm really impressed...goes to show someone did their homework .

Oh thank you! You make me feel better. I feel like I didn't take enough interesting angles. I really need another full frame. I used mostly my 5D so i didnt change lenses as often as i should. My other body is 500D and I mostly used it for videos. I have another one this Saturday. I'm pumped!

Honestly in general, clients typically chose the ones where they're looking straight into camera, conventionally framed and they look good. The other creative perspectives like off camera looks, artistic silo's, tilt shots, OCF, etc I think are mostly for your portfolio and are there to attract other clients as far as creativity. If you've gone above what they've required in the shot list, I'm sure they'll be happy with these.

I have a couple of weddings this weekend as well...good luck with your gig!

Edit: As far as lens changes are concern, I can do it while I'm walking in about 5-8 seconds. what I do is I have my lens bag act as a pouch infront of me to catch any mishaps while I have the camera body strapped around my neck - then I change. Hope that helps. Offcourse a backup body is most probably a good idea.

This is how I shoot. The assault riffle, tight shirt, microphone is just for a joke LOL

Good stuff Schwetty.

Too many to have a good critique on though. Plus thems kinda small to see too.

Looks like the B&G should be more than pleased with your results.

Thanks K! Thanks for all your help in the past one year. My first DSLR anniversary is coming up in a month.
