Hi all,

On the 29th of October, there was a Jazz Festival in Maastricht.
I was there as press and shot some photos.

Love to hear your comments & critiques! This was my very first Jazz concert, my very first Press Accreditation, my very first concert photography!

Kind regards,

Tom Ruben

I find them to be all dark and grainy. The angle of shooting aside, I think that the white shirt in a tuxedo should read as white.

Here is a reduced sized Original:

Here is How I would be submitting the tones to my paper:

You must know, if you are a press photog, that none of these would likely go to print as is. You need to be much sharper for newsprint and you need better contrast in tone as it gets lost with the grey of newspaper.

Yeah, most of them are too grainy, indication of high ISO. You should probably use a faster lens for concent photography so you can shoot at lower ISO levels --> less noise.

RESIZE YOUR IMAGES THEY ARE ****ING HUGE
