This is my daughter Jessica. I am trying out a ringlight technique that saw and fell in love with. This is an extreme artistic version of that technique. It has 4 layers (desaturated, colorized and fresco treated along with a few other goodies).

What do you think about the "look" (the lighting)?

While I can certainly appreciate trying new things this photo doesn't really do anything for me. Just being honest. Maybe try the effect in a couple of other situations.

I thought I should post the unedited for comparison. (I'm not really sure why I'm asking for critiques on a test shot - I just like the look of the ringlight shots and I think there are some ringlight fans here)

i like ring lights! butttt this shot, is bleh. Its kinda cool unedited tho.
