I love it when people post and just expect that everyone will just start replying within minutes at any time of the day or night. And then they get all depressed that nobody has replied 30 minutes later so they feel the need to go post on their own thread again.

Give it some time.

If you really want the position then how they do there interviews should not matter.

It could be worse - you could be trying to get a job as a police officer: written examination, physical agility test, multiple questionnaires, multiple interviews, polygraph, psychological evaluation, medical evaluation; all part of a complete background investigation going back many years of your life.

Also don't forget the shirt pocket protector, especially if you are applying for a position in the science or engineering faculties.

If you had interviewed around here you would get to wear socks and sandals...... along with a flannel shirt.

My daughter interviewed for a teaching position and was offered the job a little over a week ago, when she went in to do the paperwork she mentioned she was pregnant.... ooops, all of a suddent they needed to run a "background" check that they had already run. The offer was taken back that afternoon as something had come up with one of her references. She called and talked to all her references and they all said they received no calls asking about her. I told her she's lucky to have found out now how they treat their employees instead of later. So now it's on to the lawyers making money. Grrrr.

I hope you don't get it after your demonstrated patience. What do you need for love to make it through? it won't speed up time, or make it more worth while. Only thing that will make it worth while is if you trick them into thinking youre a good candidate. If you showed this kind of patience and I was interviewing you - i'd just waste your time even once i decided nOT to give you the job.
