Just a few from recent shoots! Advice? Comments? The last couple of shots are just trying let the kids have a break! One we broke out the toy instruments for fun and this was what we got! Spontaneous!

Love nr 4 & 5! I think the fact that you have made use of a shallow DOF in nr 4 absolutely made the photo. If the background was as sharp as in photo 5 it would have taken the focus away from your subject.

There is one small thing that does bother me a little (probably due to one of the photo clubs I attend and it's one thing they always comment on) and that is the bright area behind the little girls head in photo 2. My eye jumps between her face and the burned out grass.


(I probably would have made us of the shade setting on my camera for the first two photographs, but that is only because I like the warm feel it gives to the photographs).

Yeah I notice those bright spots too. I should have darkened them down. We were in the shade, but it was a really bright morning. I could go back and do it, but I doubt the client will notice as terrible as that sounds. She already has the pics anyway.

The fourth one I my daughter so she was extra silly. I think I'll print and hang it!, it so captures her personality!
