I’ve been doing this longer than you have been alive, and probably everyone you work with.

Posting a survey that stops at “more than 8 years” is kind of insulting. Takes most people that long to become really proficient and find their niche.

Same for me and maybe their parents as well.

Dark room in the basement in grade school, in the 50s. That's a while back and many more than 8 years ago. But first SLR was 1966. I won't do a whole long history, but 8 years? I have digital cameras that are 18 years old and still working.

Proficient, never, there's always some new challenge or aspect to be learning or improving.
