Just Another Red Squirrel

So I've been trying to get out and shoot more and I haven't used my 70-300 VR in quite a while, like months to be exact so I figured I'd mount it and have a little fun with it.

Light was getting dim because it getting toward the end of the day but I did my best to compensate.

Nikon D610 + 70-300 VR
300mm, 1/320th, f/5.6 and ISO 2800

Great shot man. You managed to make them beady eyes a little less freaky than normal.

You should've heard all the noises they were making as I was taking pictures haha. I actually had to turn my dial to quiet mode which actually helped, because normally the mirror slap would startle them.
