The soccer people have some decent arguments for their ownership of the word football. They did have it first and everything.

I would be willing to change the name of american football to, "a bunch of doped up elephant tranqed steriod heads with bulging muscles, boobs and small wangs that will be dead by the age of 50"

not a big fan of football myself.

I was reading the average NFL career is less then 5 yrs, and the average life expectancy of an NFL player is 52 yrs. All those elephant painkillers catch up with you.
