Welcome to TPF.

Getting a photo critique is easier if you only provide a couple of pics. This will allow for a more thorough review as some people can provide a very comprehensive critique (not me but others).

I'll give a brief rundown of what I see but keep in mind I shoot wildlife and my opinion really only matters to me so take it with a grain of salt.

Overall pretty decent shots. 1&3 look like snapshots. The other three appear to have a bit more thought behind what the desired outcome would be.

Photo 1.
Decent photo but I would come out more so you don't cut off the feet. The lighting is a bit dark so if you have a tripod, use it and lower the shutter speed or use a flash (I know sleeping baby, mom may kill you for the flash. lol)

Photo 2.
I like this shot, it's almost there. I think it's a little centred in the frame for me and I would like to see the side lighting a little brighter.....then again I don't shoot this type of thing so I could be on crack.

Photo 3.
If you are shooting with the kit lens I would get closer to the subject and open the lens and aperture more. Also if you can take the photo when the sun is lower in the sky it will illuminate the face better.

Photo 4.
I've tried water photography once.....you did better. I need to re visit this sometime. lol

Photo 5.
Good stock photography look to this one. Maybe shift the frame right a bit to even the D and H so the D isn't cut off.

That's all I have. Hope it helps and it'll be mere minutes till someone that shoots this stuff contradicts me.

Good shots for the most part, just remember to clean the dust off things first for fewer distractions, like the HD logo, and the f h and b keys, and the side of the g. The baby appears to be dust free.

It may be my display, but they all seem underexposed to me. Not very interesting or creative either, but you gotta start somewhere, they say. Welcome to TPF.

I agree that the exposure could all around be a bit brighter, and as a macro photographer I too am super bothered by the dust on the HD and keyboard images. At this point, you might be able to edit it out, but in future you should give everything a wipe down. The keyboard composition is a little tilted, so I would level it out too. The water faucet is great, but compositionally I would either crop out the little bit of the faucet we see or include more of it- right now it's clear that you weren't paying that much attention to it and its purpose in the image. But nice job on the water clarity! With the Harley image, I would have brought the light source a little more around to the front so that it cast across the raised fronts of the lettering and brightened the image up a bit that way.
