What's new

Just want to share my photoshop skill

Very hip and trendy. Next I would master the art of treating a woman's skin in PS. Worse extreme is showing every pore, opposite extreme is phony flawless yukky look. Men's skin too. But they can also be benefited by a rugged worn look while women rarely look good that way. Some of these samples show the skin details too much.

So you think i should process the skin even more sobolik? Are you sure? You can also click the slideshow if you want to maximize it on your screen.

Pretty interesting edits, Schwetty! The peacock edit was probably my favorite--really awesome work. :)

Decent job. I am not big on the fake eye makeup though. I just don't like the look in general, not so much your Post Processing. Also not a fan of the facial and body re-shaping. Its one thing if an angle just make a specific part look slightly unflattering, but to completely reshape a persons entire facial structure, I am sort of against. Now granted if these were advertising shots and not shots to give to the model, then I guess whatever achieves your purpose works, and the sky is the limit in terms of alterations. I still feel that a better selection of model from the start would be the better choice. With that said, it is only extremely apparent in one of the shots I saw on there I think. Thats just all my opinion though. Overall, nice job on the PP.

I think you did great. Who needs a makeup artist?! ;) To me, it looks like you were doing fashion or magazine work, in which case the women always have unnaturally perfect skin. So it works.

Again I'm not sure what your angle is for these, but I don't think most women would mind too much if you made them look flawless. Jmho...

Well, I do reshape my subject's shape once in a while. But of course I dont show them before and after. You can only really tell the difference if you see before and after. Most of the time they love the way they look on the photo so I am happy :). But really on magazines you have no idea how much they edit the shape even for women that are already have smoking body.

WOW! Is the model's neck in #11 and 12 really the long? WOW!

Yeah.. I didnt modify her neck length LOL.

They look good. Only one is one that I think the 'makeup' was applied a bit too heavy, but you did a great job with these.

Yeah.. I didnt modify her neck length LOL.

Sorry, looks extreme.
Also I have no idea about makeup so I really can't judge on that. They do look nice to me.

I think over the top eye makeup looks ridiculous and takes away from the actual beauty of a persons eyes... I personally think it looks a little silly, or like Mimi from the Drew Carey show.

Trust me Tyler, if you see other people's edits, these are not over the top. Like I said though, I dont know how to apply a makeup :)

You have some very solid retouching skills... really nice. How did you learn?

I guess it's just not for me.
