First foray into the yard with the new (to me) Nikon 200-500/5.6E lens. Hand held one shot chance at the thing, think I need to learn to take a bunch of shots with my D5600. Is there a method to taking a burst of shots? Still learning the camera.

Very nice shot but a pity you could not get closer.....

Very nice image! Wonderful sharpness and dof and a nice composition. Your camera can shoot five frames per second, which is not bad. I switched from a Canon 2000D (three frames per second) to a Canon 90D (ten frames per second) for the purpose of catching birds in flight, and other moving objects.
