Kathryn (Senior Photos)

My cousin asked me to take some of her senior photos this weekend to be used on her graduation announcements. It went well, I guess, considering that she only wanted to do them around the neighborhood because she had a rehearsal about 2 hours afterwards.

I think they came out O.K., but I'm not sure about the color. Something seems off. I edited them on my desktop, which has an uncalibrated monitor (I got a calibration tool but my computer rejects the software...), and they looked great, but then I uploaded to Flickr and checked on my laptop and the colors seemed REEALLLLYYY cool. There also seems to be a magenta tint that I can't get rid of...

How do they look to y'all?

The skin tones look OK to me on my laptop, but the shirt tends to be a bit overexposed (first and last shots for example ...)

Yeah I though about that. I might be able to salvage a little more detail.

I think overall nice job. Im not on a calibrated monitor at the moment so cant help with your colors though.

Never shoot pics of a pale girl in a white shirt. For paler folks you have to over expose a bit. Her to get her face to expose correctly you have to over expose the shirt which is even lighter. Darker clothing is optimal for portraits. But these seem okay, especially for free.
