I can't see the whole image at once on my screen but when I look at the upper half I find the white column next to her head to be an awkward intrusion and I'd be inclined to eliminate it.

I have to agree with Donde; overall, a very nice image, but that light is somewhat visually irritating.

This has the look of an informal portrait, and as such, I'm o.k. with the background light, chair, and corner of the wall. However if you want to kick it up a notch, then use an uncluttered background.

Lovely model, flirty pose, she looks very comfortable in front of the camera and I bet you got a great set with her. But that strip of light in the background is what grabs my eye first.

A lovely and well taken image, but do agree about the bright light.

Yup. Like a moth to a flame. The viewer's eye will always be drawn first to the lightest part of a composition.

In this case... Lamp, shirt, right arm and then, eventually, face.

So... As a photo of the clothing... pretty nice! As a portrait (and this post IS in people photography), good start.
