Key West Sunset

Here's one of my favourites from my first experiece with the D7000. Took it at Key West about 10 days ago.

Hey, I'm trying to plan a trip there in January!! Where did you stay?

The shot has a lot of banding in the sunset.

I also noticed bands, but only when looking at my monitor from certain angles. I guess a print would make it better in that regard. It might be better if the bird was sharper, although I would have to see it to decide. Overall, I like this photo, good job!

looks good! Makes me miss Florida! How did you process it, though? That banding doesn't look natural.

I stayed in Miami and made a daytrip. It's a long way, so we ended up watching this beautiful sunset by luck.
It's a really nice place, try to rent one of those rooms with oceanview near Sunset Pier. :thumbup:

Noted the problem but it didn't look too bad on my monitor. I still have to research a little about it, but does anyone know how could I correct that with photoshop?

Applied a Color Balance adjustment layer and worked with the Shadows/Lightnings on another layer. Looking at the original, it seems these adjustments originated the banding, but it's hard to tell on my monitor.
