Khazad-dum in macro

That's honestly all I could think of when I saw this. I guess now though it looks like a macro version of the grand canyon with a bit more foliage. I think this one is mostly for my own fun, but I'll share it anyway, go to town.

I've tinkered with these macroscapes a bit. Try focus stacking a few images to get a very wide DOF, that should make it look bigger than it is.

I have both registax (for astrophotography) and combineZP on my pc, but so far I haven't been able to get a good focus stack yet. Is it easier in photoshop? Or is it just a matter of getting all the focus points with a nice steady tripod?

I think this would be a good subject to try it on, not going anywhere anytime soon .
