Sorry you have do to some work there. Had a look at you page. Most shots have terrible harsh sunlight. They are more snapshots than anything.

lol! I have never agreed with Janineh on ANYTHING.. but there is a first time for everything, I guess! Your watermark is so intrusive, it seriously detracts from being able to view the image of the child. And that is too bad.. it looks like it was a nice image! I can understand wanting to protect your images... but I think it is over the top.

Can't really focus on commenting on the actual work behind the garrish watermark.

A watermark is fine when you are posting it somewhere that you have a risk of losing something and want to try to protect it from someone taking it instead of buying it, but when posting it up for critiques and comments, it really isn't needed.

...and then your remarks back when it's brought up as a newer member of the group really show how open you are to comments and critiques.... nice job on setting the tone for your membership and participation here !

Tony: There is a risk posting photos anywhere on the internet.. anyone can steal anything, anytime.. so I get the apprehension... but if you do find out someone has used your images illegally to make money (a worst case scenario) all you'd need is proof that you shot the original image and a lawyer. Post low-rez images not suitable for any real manipulation or printing and lose/move the watermark. Lose the attitude while you're at it (meant for the OP!).

Well, the watermark isn't the pain point of why this person shared this. It's beautiful to me. I love the kid's eyes. They tell a story.

But first of all, you would have to have a picture that someone would actually want to steal. I seldom see too many of those posted here or elsewhere.

Watermark aside it a nice shot...very expressive, love the eyes....made me laugh
