Kinda new

I am a little new at this but I am into wildlife photography. I currently have a Minolta Maxxum 7000 But I am wanting to upgrade. I cannot afford anything expensive so I was thinking a Canon 10D. What do you guys think?

Best thing to do is to try it, hold one see how it feels, canon offers a great selection on glass (as does the other brands)

I'm not a Canon guy, so I can't talk about that camera. http://www.dpreview.com/ has lots of great reviews of many cameras.

Since you mention wildlife photography, you might want to consider not getting the kit lens and go for the camera body and a longer lens, maybe around 200mm or more.

That is what I was planning on doing. They have a really nice one for a pretty penny. It is the 300mm I want to say F2.8

If you already have good Minolta mount lenses don't forget that those will fit on the new Sony Alpha mount DSLRs
