Kinglets and some other birds today

These little Kinglets are tough. They are really really small, twitchy and fast.. Got to spend most of the day, finally playing with my new lens after working 23 hours between Friday and Saturday.. Comments are always welcome...

1 Golden Crowned Kinglet after a bug - I was stopped down a little too much on this one, wish I had a touch more SS.

Love the yellow in number 3, but the moment in one is priceless.

These are marvelous! Difficult to pick a favorite. The subjects are all bang-on, great detail, and backgrounds.... wowzer.

I liked the yellow- and the orange-backgrounded shots the most. The yellow one is a wonderful situation and subject matter. The seagull is a bird I'm not very fond of (I think of them as rats, with wings), but the light was favorable and the bird was close and the background is nicely blown out.

#1 is my favorite. The shot caught a little glimpse of personality in that guy. Super cute with his head cocked to the side. It made me smile.
The rest are wonderful shots, as always. Keep shooting, babe!!
