Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I accidentally posted a few photos taken with my Nikon 18-55 kit lens in another part of this site and just wanted to get some over here. I've been trying to hone my skills with my 18-55 and 55-300 lenses and have really enjoyed trying to get some up close insect photos using the 18-55 kit lens that came with my Nikon D5100. I have been pleased thus far with their output and I'll try to squeeze as much as I can from them. Here are a few examples taken with the 18-55 kit lens as I learn to work within it's capabilities...

I liked the 18-55vr kit lens and kinda regret selling it and getting the 18-105vr! The 18-55 was sharper

I personally don't like the 18-55 simply because of it's lack in range. I shoot for fun and don't edit my photos. I take them just to take them, share with friends...some I take for my mom so she can print them and frame them (small sized).

The 18-55 has its use. It is for general purpose shots, so I was told by one of the staffs of a camera store...but it had save my shooting life many times in the past, so I am not dissing it. The 18-105 is more useful for other stuffs.

Its a nice lens. I wouldn't use it anymore because i prefer prime lenses in that range of focal length.
