I found 10 rolls of really old (20 years) 200 speed(9 rolls) and 400 speed(1 roll) Kodak Ektachrome film. I have no idea how it was stored by the original owner, but I do know the thrift shop I got it at did not refrigerate it, so I haven't either. I have loaded one roll of the 200 into my Canon A2, and I'm just wondering what I'm going to get in the way of any keepers when I finish shooting it.

My other concern is where to get it developed. I guess I could go through Wally-World's send out service, but I think it takes about 2 weeks total from pick up to return, and I'm not sure what it's going to cost. :er:

I've never shot slide film so this is going to be interesting.
Is there anything I need to do to perhaps improve my chances for good shots? Other than new film.

Thanks, Ed

You can check your local labs but it's likely that you're going to have to send it out. That being said, I'd drop it off where ever is most convenient unless you want to Google a lab you can send it to directly.
