On day two of our two week trip and edited a few more of one of the prettiest and largest Cathedrals on our trip. If you want to provide CC, go for it, but I just enjoy sharing my work with whoever lol. All shots were with a d90 and Sigma 10-20, handheld (tripods in churches over there are a no no)

1. just a reference shot to show how large this is (check the people out below)

5. Walked over 1200+ steps (up and down combined), this was only 3/4ths of the way up.

I know it's frowned upon to post more than 4/5 shots, but these are just some *extra* shots lol. Again, don't feel the need to CC them all, but if you'd like to point out a fav and un fav, go for it :)

If you feel so inclined to check more out, I got a bunch more on my flickr in my sig. Thanks for looking.

Those stairs were a Beeyotch lol. We climbed a couple other churches/castles, if I didn't see stairs for the rest of my life (after that trip), I'd be a happy man lol.

Very nice, very clear! Well lit! No noise, I'm impressed! I particularly like Photo 3! Such wide angle captures the inside of large churches well!
I've so far never managed to get a good photo inside Kölner Dom (Cologne Cathedral).
A friend of mine is going to perform in the Dom in October ... wish I could go and listen!

LaFoto, the 10-20 was awesome while in Europe, definitely an excellent purchase for the trip. A tip for the noise (b/c 1600 isn't great), was luminance noise to 40, then high pass layer at 5.0. It took the noise out, but sharpened it up quite a bit. I loved Germany so much, I can't wait to get back. The people, atmosphere, everything was amazing.

Tirediron, Thanks!
