Konica Minolta Z2

Don't know if any of you own this kind of camera or not, but anyway..

I'm looking for my first digital camera. My friend suggested the Konica Minolta Z2, but I didn't think it supported additional lenses. Then I found something on eBay that sounded like it was some sort of adapter for additional lenses. So now I'm wondering: does it support additional lenses?

Also: I read a review that said that pictures taken with the Z2 were not what was expected from a 4 MP camera. Any truth to this?

It seems it has lens threads but needs an adapter.
