Königssee Germany

Königssee Germany and the Bavarian Alps as seen from Kehlsteinhaus (Eagles Nest), at 6000ft elevation. Captured during our visit to Europe in Fall 2016. We were lucky with the weather as often visibility is very low with cloud cover. Königssee is the lake and town seen at the base of the mountains. Translated to "King's Sea", Königssee is a beautiful town. The lake, which is picturesque, was also wonderful to visit.

Thanks. I think the title may have been misleading as the mountains are really the main subject and the lake and town are secondary. Perhaps a title more in line with "Bavarian Alps above Konigssee" would have been more appropriate.
