I think you need to lighten it a little or else you will loose the detail. Look how much cooler it looks with just a little slide up on the shadow/highlight tool in photoshop. You get all those cool background details.

And I'd still even brighten it up a little more, because on paper you don't have a light source like on your computer screen, so it will even look darker.
