La catrina with Zosia

Hello everybody!
Actually these photos are my first try in studio(hmm studio... I mean I've got white background and flashes ). La catrina is one of the most known symbol of day of the dead in Mexico.

Brinr, that's a really nice effect with the "see through" chest, so you can see the bones.. was this done in makeup or post?

Ha ha thread hijacked that's funny. Actually the makeup artists did all the work as far as that goes.

How did you get the purple background effect? i really love all of these photos.

Corv- In these shoots with purple and blue background I didin't use flash to the background, then I made purple tuxture in postprocess and made the blend mode to overlay(as I remember).

not bad! i think you should cut her out and place her in some suitable location. try a composing with some dark surroundings. in my opinion this would be more cool
