It's amazing there! The pink area are flowers or something that's growing there with the grass.

I actually thought about doing an HDR there. I was actually standing at the end of a little cliff and had to dodge the water from the waves crashing in so I really didn't have time LOL. Had to save the camera =)

That is a low dynamic range scene.

HDR stands for High Dynamic Range.

A lot of the ****ty looking HDR's, look ****ty because the scene the HDR process was used on - was inappropriate for the HDR technique.

I understand that. If the sun was on the other side and the side of the cliffs were much darker it would look good. Although it looks fake, it's still fun to play with HDR regardless of what you're shooting...for me anyways =)

In that case, you would be playing with tone mapping, not HDR.
