Yes Alabama State Park, Guntersville. AL. The first three images are from the RV park on the water (exceptional park). Behind the campground are tennis courts, behind that are "Glamping Tents" fully furnished with heat/air. On either side of us were cabins for rent. The last image is of the Lodge, a 112 room resort/hotel. Half the rooms face the water. The other half face a beautiful 18 hole championship golf course built on the top of Taylor mountain. The narrow fairways with steep drop offs, add new meaning to the term "in the rough".

Know it well, we spend some time in and around Mentone, especially pretty in the fall. Little River Canyon starts up there and wanders its way down till it dumps into Weiss Lake about 6 miles across the water from our place.

Nice. AT least you have a lake. We've had just the river (amall one) all summer. The lake comes back in the Spring.

Guntersville Lake is big, almost 70,000 acres, and a 1000 miles of shoreline. They dammed the TN River and put in locks to make it navigable. We have several sizeable lakes in our part of the state. Our home lake is 30,000 acres

Ours is 1500 acres. But it gets drained in the Fall so we don't have to pull docks due to the ice (that's cold, solid water that we have up here 😜). Back in May or June, they drained it to rebuild the dam. That work should be done in a few weeks, but it's too late to let it fill again, so Spring.
