a dozen pictures i took sunday night, and am quite happy with them

most are long 25-30 second exposures.
(yes that duck stayed perfectly still for the 25 second long shot.. lol)

a few like the swan ones are 1 second exposures with flash

The colours in many of them are fantastic.

I especially like pics 1 and 12

Thanks
i love the colours.

actually for the orange sky ones i was leaving.. and then decided to take one last pic facing that way to see what kinda light i was getting
i looked at the lcd and was wow'd lol
so i hoofed it back down to the lighthouse and took those pics.

Nice thing is those dont have much PP at all. got rid of a bit of redness, and sharpened, rotated.

good old light pollution lol

It was really peaceful there
silent, almost pitch black on a still lake.
to bad there was so many bugs out. lol

They were all taken with a Nikon D50 and the 18-55mm kit lens
i had a polarizer and ND8 filter on the lens.( i wanted the long exposure foggy water effect, but the lake was just too still)

These are very stunning shots....it took my breath away.....wow i am still stunned. :)

yeah, brilliant shots!

i like number 10 the best i think.. and there's something about swans in a misty light blue sea/sky that works for me.

Excellent work on these. My faves are 1 and 9. Some very peacefull scenes you captured. Well done.:thumbup:
