Lance never did have the cance

So apparently between the unraveling of Lance's long-assumed drug use, he never had cancer either.

Damn. I can forgive the guy for using the steroids because it's not uncommon at all in his sport (not that it's ethical...it's just common), but lying about cancer has really turned me off to supporting Lance probably forever.

Who the hell does that? :/

I don't think he's suggesting Armstrong didn't have cancer, just that he had a little more help afterwards to accomplish what he did, beyond just 'motivation'. Given that the intended use of EPO is to help improve quality of life for people undergoing chemo, I assumed that was how he originally got into using it.

I'm not really sure how accurate that source is. But I keep Finding snippets about how his cancer wasn't exactly as destructive as he made it out to be.

Oprah is supposed to be interviewing him about all of this stuff tonight.

personally i was a little disheartened by armstrongs admitting to blood doping. being a huge tour de france fan, i really looked at it as one of the last bastians of legitimate athletics.

i suppose it could be.. maybe lance is going to get on and expose just how widespread the doping was in the Tour. he denied it for so long, maybe hes just going to start "outing" everyone now.
