Landscapes in Cloudy Conditions

Hi I was trying to take landscapes in cloudy conditions and the results were not very impressive. there was a lot of noise in the images. I used a

Canon 7D with a canon 50mm f/1.8 lens to get the shot.

I'll really appreciate some help with the correct settings for future.....

Welcome to the forum.

What ISO were you using? Did you adjust the exposure/brightness of the image with software? Can you show us some examples?

Cloudy conditions are often good for landscape photography because you don't have to deal with the harsh contrast between things that are in direct sunlight and things that are in shadow.
