This is a Extended family session. This is when grandma and grandpa, all their kids + spouses, and all the grandchildren come together for a shoot. For their portrait setting, they get a large group portrait, as well as a portrait of each smaller family. They also get some fun ones i.e. all the grandkids with grandma and grandpa, grandma and grandpa together . . .
These ones were done in the fall leaves about 5 miles from my home!

As I'm looking at them here, they seem a little dark on a few. I might go back and lighten them . . . do you agree?

some of them need a bit of a crop, they are too far away and it's hard to make out the faces.

All in all, I think this is a nice series. My fav has to be the one with the grand kids and the last one. Beautiful shots!
But I agree with rubber tree, alittle cropping and these will be awesome!

Nice job. I agree too with a little more cropping on some.

I've got tighter shots of both of these, and I think on #4 I agree with everyone. On #1 though, they are planning on doing a canvas print at 30x40. I left a loose crop on it so that at that size they don't appear gigantic. I am debating about cropping a little on the left so that it leaves them in the left third of the photo. Doing that will naturally make them a little bit bigger in the pic without overdoing it.

Am I correct in my thoughts on that?
