Woohooo!
I just wrapped up my last day at my "dayjob". I don't know if it's gonna fly or not, but I'm going to give full time photography a whirl. I'm going to continue with the PJ work, and I'll also be assisting 2 area wedding photogs, one who shoots classic style, and another who shoots PJ style.
I got a cover of a magazine. Ok, it's probably read by three people in the world, but I'm tickled about it. It's the fireman photo and it's slated to be the next cover of Industrial Fire World Magazine. Practically gave it away, but I'm still thrilled. But realistically, I know I will never make a living with PJ. I just love it so much. It's such a rush. That's why I'll be doing wedding work. I'll just apprentice for a while as I am a complete wedding newbie. Wish me luck! I'm hoping to be hired by one of the people I'll be apprenticing for. I don't know that I have enough business sense to make a go of it on my own.
Like I said, it may be a bomb, but I really don't have to make much money to cover for the old day job. I figure I have one life, and I'd rather not spend it doing something I hate. Sorry Chiller, you just lost your contact at the foam factory! teehee.
Had to share. I'm really excited. Keep your fingers crossed that I can pull it off. :heart: And thank you all for all the help you have given me over the last year. You guys are invaluable to me. :heart: Now, just think how much I am going to bug you for help now that my living is riding on it. LOL.
