It was very early in the morning and very very dark - totally overcast with rain showers all around when I stumbled on a family of otters out playing on the ice. They would run, dive head first onto their bellies and slide as far as they could. Once they saw me they came over and let me take a few photos before disappearing.

Thanks for replies. Went back today in but never saw the otters. Only have a week or so til the ice is gone - hope to get another crack at them with better light.
