last leaf on the tree

The Sun was setting as i was walking home in central park and i has to take a pic of this

I think the idea/concept is good. The problem I have is that the leaf is very hard to see. I think I would have cropped out the sun by cropping the image about a third of the way in from the right and brightened it up a bit so that the leaf is the main object in the image...or, maybe, taken it as a silhouette by using the leaf to block the sun.
