Last night was a terrible night

Last night one of my fellow officers was shot and killed while trying to serve a warrant. Five other officers were shot and wounded, most of them with very serious injuries. Worst night in my law enforcement career. I worked with and I am friends with these officers. I feel like crap!!!

That is terrible news. My condolences and I hope and pray that your fellow friends, colleagues make a speedy recovery.

I hate hearing that kind of news, I feel fortunate that nothing bad happened to my father during his service, he just retired right before Christmas after 25 years.

Prayers go out to his family, both at home at at the department. Keep the memories you have of the good times near.

There are just too many cases of this lately, here we are dealing with the loss of the National Park Ranger who was a neighbor.
