This is the last shot my 7D took before my tripod tipped over and landed in the river.

well it is very nice sad to see your camera go into the river just had a flash my only flash fall into the Mississippi river but sadly no photo to show for its death. love the B&W great depth makes me feel cold

Sorry to hear that your 7D is dead! I hope you'll get the new camera as fast as it's possible. Quite a good photo - nice framing and good B&W editing.

Good news!!! I turned my 7D on today and it works!!!

Make sure you keep it in a warm/hot environment (like a heated room with a fan on it) so none of internal water can rust away at the cameras internal components.

I think it was 2005 when I got caught in a torrential downpour in the rain forests of Costa Rica and one of my 20Ds got soaked. The inside of the LCD was fogged up for at least a week. It's still going strong today (knock on wood).
