Me and my housemates decided it was time to get a dog. We bought several kits and screwed up the first one badly, The second kit was missing parts but we combined the 2nd and 3rd and came up with....

DENNY!

We screwed up the tail a bit but the kit's instructions were in Mandarin Chinese

Yes, she is roughly 7 months old and is a "rescue" dog, meaning we got her from a shelter. She's a beagle/? mix. Her tail was broken at some point and healed weird, the last inch or so is bent roughly 110 degress and forms a hook.

It not the valuables that the problem, its the cats, they sat at the top of the stairs looking at us like "What the hell did you do?"

Puppy tip: don't leave expensive sunglasses lying around, they seem to love eating them!

Things that 7 month old puppies like to eat:

mobile phones
dishwasher, washing machine and oven knobs
contents of fridge
child locks that you put on fridge to keep puppy out
skirting boards
plaster off walls
socks

And guard the last page of the book you are reading with your life - still annoys me that I got to the end of the book and don't know how it finished.
